I recently came across this photo of my friend, Christopher Owen Cook, who died unexpected on August 8, 2004 of a very aggressive cancer at the age of 33. I thought it only fitting that I link it to my journal entry of him.

I miss you buddy. I'll see you on the other side. And save me some ribs!

	goodude: 09/05/2006 7:49 AM i just lost a childhood buddy of mine last friday. from diabetes age 44...and then monday the world lost steve irwin..the aussie mate in animal planet, he had an infectious energy about him. i agree Chris, life is indeed fleeting. a mere speck of dot in eternity...lets not throw away relationships in this age of disposable this and disposable that. makes me think, what legacy do i leave? what was my defining moment? how does this impact my children? it is still in our hands no?! thanks for sharing.
